Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to Advanced Placement United States Government and Politics! This wiki page is designed for use by students enrolled in Mrs. Madison's AP U.S. Government. Students and parents are encouraged to visit the wiki page frequently, as it contains the daily assignments, readings, and resources necessary for students to be successful in the course.
As an instructor of U.S. Government and Politics, I seek to engage students as they develop a deeper understanding of the institutions and processes of American government and politics. Throughout the course, students will be encouraged to examine their personal beliefs regarding government and politics as they develop their own political ideologies . Finally, I seek to ensure that students are prepared for success on the A.P. U.S. Government and Politics Exam, which is offered in May.
I am committed to assisting and encouraging students as they grow in spirit, body, and mind at Peoria Notre Dame High School. I fully embrace the mission and values of Peoria Notre Dame High School and encourage students to do the same.
I am available to students and parents during the times listed on the schedule found at the bottom of this page. Email is the preferred method of contact outside of regular school hours. I strive to respond to emails within one school day. Should parents or guardians require to meet with me in person, I kindly request that they schedule an appointment to do so.
